Abcoude is located near Amsterdam in the ‘golden triangle’, with open fields on one side of the village, a series of small lakes on another side, and the city of Amsterdam just to the north-west. The village of Abcoude also has many impressive sights of its own, including the Fort at Abcoude, Mondriaan’s mill and a number of handsome historic churches. If you would like to explore Abcoude and the local area on two wheels, we’ll be happy to provide you with bicycles!
Sailing
Why not explore the local area by boat? Abcoude’s many lakes and rivers, like the winding River Angstel and the open water of the Abcoudermeer, attract water sports enthusiasts from far and wide. You can even sail to the famous Vinkeveen Lakes or right into the city of Amsterdam.
Food and drink
Abcoude has plenty of café and restaurant terraces. It’s the perfect place to relax with a drink, or enjoy wonderful food at any time of the day. You’ll find countless options for breakfast, lunch or dinner close to the Park Hotel. There are also options for business meetings.
Amsterdam
Abcoude railway station is just around the corner from our hotel. From there, you are just two stations and fifteen minutes away from the heart of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Central Station). The Ziggo Dome, the Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam ArenA and the AMC are also just a stone’s throw away from the hotel.
